NO GUNS NO PHONES Dad Hat
Our NO GUNS NO PHONES hat is inspired by a sign given to us by artist Walter Fields. Walter, a former East Village artist and director of the Jacklight Gallery on East 7th Street in the 1990s and early 2000s, created several versions of the original “NO GUNS NO PHONES” artwork. His signs hung on our door and by our register, where they’ve been a fixture for many years. Walter was well known in the neighborhood for his witty, politically charged slogans displayed in the gallery window.
